Enjoy a week in Nicaragua experiencing two distinct regions and cultures – the English speaking Caribbean Islands and then the Spanish colonial jewel of Granada. This vacation will show you the variety of this beautiful country.

You’ll fly into Managua and transfer into the center of town for your first night in Nicaragua. Los Robles is a 14 room boutique hotel in a converted Spanish colonial villa near to the center of Managua in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in town. Enjoy your first evening in one of the many great restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. Spend your first full day in Nicaragua taking in the sights of the capital city, Manangua.

Day three has you transfering back to the airport for your early morning flight to one of the Caribbean’s secret spots! The Corn Islands are two upspoiled gems lying in azure waters 40 miles off the coast of Bluefields. The Old Caribbean lives here – turquoise waters, white sand, excellent fishing, some of the best coral reefs in the hemisphere, and an unhurried pace. On Little Corn Island – a tiny paradise island with no cars – your rustic home for the next couple of days will be Little Corn Beach & Bungalows. A haven for pirates and buccaneers in the 17th century, untold numbers of shipwrecks and treasures still lay scattered along the turquoise shores of the Corn Islands, creating a new haven for scuba divers and snorkeling aficionados. Spend these days under the water, exploring the island in a rented golf cart (the best way to get around!), or simply relaxing by the pool or under a coconut palm!

On the sixth day of your Cultural Mix vacation, you make your way to the colonial city of Granada, where you’ll stay at Hotel Dario, an elegant, historical mansion in the heart of the town.You’ll spend three nights here enjoying the cultural heart of Granada. Explore the city and take a highlights tour of the surrounding artisan markets, immersing yourself in the Latin culture that is such a contrast to the Caribbean culture that you experienced earlier in the vacation.

Day 1:  Fly into Managua and transfer 20 minutes into the center of town for your first night in Nicaragua. Stay at Hotel Los Robles.

Day 2: Enjoy a tour of the capital of Nicaragua, Managua.

Day 3: Transfer back to the airport for your early morning flight to the Corn Islands. Upon arrival at the airstrip on Big Corn Island, hop a boat over to Little Corn Island and head to Little Corn Beach & Bungalows for three nights.

Days 4-5: Spend these days in the pristine Corn Islands.

Day 6: Fly back to Managua and transfer transfer to Granada. Stay at Hotel Dario for three nights. Get to know the cultural heart of Granada on a city tour.

Day 7: Explore the highlights of the area on another tour of the surrounding artisan markets.

Day 8: Transfer back to Managua for your flight home.
