Arrive in Managua and transfer to Jicaro Island Ecolodge, a private island in Lake Nicaragua. After three nights there, it’s over to the beach, to Nicaragua’s best eco-resort, Morgan’s Rock for four nights of adventure and lazing around!

A stay at your first hotel, Jicaro Island Ecolodge could have an emphasis on relaxing, yoga, massages, reading a good book or just taking endless naps listening to the tranquil waters of Lake Nicaragua next to your casita. But if you are looking for an adventure, Jicaro has also many tours and activities to offer.  The “must do” tours during a stay on the island are kayaking around the Granada Isletas, hiking in the rainforest, the famous Puma trail or visiting the hot springs at the foot of the Mombacho Volcano located just a short boat ride across the lake.

Once you’ve left the delights of Jicaro, it’s onwards to the beach, where you’ll stay at Morgan’s Rock. Morgan’s Rock Hacienda & Eco-lodge is a luxurious hotel consisting of 15 deluxe bungalows set in the middle of a 1,800-hectare property on the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua, 25 minutes away from the beach town of San Juan del Sur. You’ll pass four nights here, hanging out on one of Nicaragua’s most exquisite, pristine beaches. There are plenty of tours and excursions available for the more adventurous minded.

Day 1:  Fly into Managua and transfer 45 minutes to Lake Nicaragua and your boat across to Jicaro Island Ecolodge for the first three nights of your Living the Dream vacation package.

Days 2-3: Enjoy the serenity of your private island ecolodge.

Day 4: Transfer back to the mainland and head to the beach (approx 2.5 hours), where you’ll stay at Morgan’s Rock Hacienda & Eco-lodge for four nights.

Days 5-7: Hang out on one of Nicaragua’s most exquisite, pristine beaches during your stay at Morgan’s Rock. There are plenty of tours and excursions available for the more adventurous minded.

Day 8: Tear yourself out of your hammock and transfer back to Managua for your flight home.
